An ode to 99 Mining/Smithing

These have always been the milestone for me, and one day I will get it.. especially with the Motherlode Mine out now. I can just see it now.. the skillcape, the emote.. oi! just thinking about it gets me all warm and tingly inside.. :p now if I can only just focus enough to actually achieve said goal.. XD

If you want 99 Mining sooner then why don't you just use the Quarry? Also for Smithing you can get 99 Magic as well if you superheat.

If I were going for xp only I most certainly would, my plan though involves getting my crafting up as well as im going towards my milestone :p also making a pretty penny along the way.
